LEMON CAKE

If you are lemon crazy like me, you will really love to give it a try. lemon cake recipe is fluffy, tangy and so easy to make. Every bite burst with flavor.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1½ Cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • zest of lemon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat oven on 350degrees
  • In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda and ½ teaspoon salt. In a large bowl, using an eclectic mixer, beat butter on medium, add granulated sugar and continue to beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition
  • With mixer on low, gradually add flour alternating with 2 additions of buttermilk. Beat in vanilla then fold in lemon mixture.
  • Transfer butter to pan and bake until golden brown
