HOW TO COOK MALAWIAN RICE

  1. Bring water to a boil and add rice.
  2. Reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Add the milk and margarine or butter, cover and cook until rice is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
  4. Add sugar to taste.
